An aspect of the divine mercy is that Allah, the Almighty, forgives Muslims their unintended sins, their forgetfulness of obligations (noting that obligations should be fulfilled when remembered), as well as the sins and crimes which they commit under coercion. In this regard, Allah says: {And He has not placed upon you in the religion any hardship.} [Sūrat al-Hajj: 78]
